My mothers day started with Joshua waking Gracie saying "happy mothers day."  He knew what we called today, though I don't think he understood what it meant.
Daddy and Gracie cooked me breakfast.  She so quietly said, "Time to wake up."  They served it by my bed as we don't have lap trays.Scrabbled eggs biscuits, juice, and diet coke.
Then,  I had a nice relaxing bath which I haven't had in what seems forever.  Which, I used my anti-stress bath my hubby got me and soap-less soap from BBW.  I actually took time to shave and put on lotion.
Then, it was time for Sunday school and church.  All the mothers get a pink carnation. I took one to my mom.
I bought her a pink ice tea maker because he fave color is pink.
Joshua made me a card.  But, the best present of all was that Joshua did well at Nina's and Granddad's condo.  They didn't get bored.  We were there from noon to about 5:30 or so.  She keeps toys.  They didn't fight or get cranky.
It was wonderful.
Oh, yes lets not forget my brothers delightful hamburgers which he grilled on the outside grill.  Despite the heavy wind.  He makes the best burgers.Pasta salad and chips.  And for desert banana split pie (weight watchers).
I hadn't seen my parents all week (they went on a trip to CA).  So, it was really nice to chit chat for Ryan and his wife Lisa, mom, and dad.  Hooray tomorrow is a school day!
