CBS Early show: Special Needs kid Voted out of K
This is horrifying. Obviously they broke the law. Poor kid tells his mom hes not special. I have not seen the full thing as my kids interrupted.
What happened?
She(teacher) stood her kids up one by one had the class tell him what they didn't like about him. Then, she had them vote him out of the classroom. I will post more later. My son was kicked out of public K before we knew he had disabilities. But, this is even worse. The school wouldn't do anything. The humiliton he suffered through this moron of a teacher. I hope the mom sues the teacher for emotional damages.

Even if the child didn't have a disability, what the teacher did is completely illegal, to do this to any child is extremely inappropriate.
We don't need sickos like her in classrooms. Teachers, especially primary teachers, are so important to the development of not only a child's basic academic skills but also the beginnings of their individual identity.
I agree. this is not an appropriate thing for any teacher to do.
I have never sued anyone before and I do not know where to go for such advice(except a lawyer). It's a little scary
