My daughter loves Chinese fried rice. However, when she eats it; well she pukes it up. Man I am not talking a little bit. Its all over the floor and toilet. Its everywhere.
My question is what is in it that she is allergic too? It doesn't matter which restruant we go too. It happens every time. I am so embarrassed. I worry about her.
What's the best thing about your mom?
She is wonderful. She is trying to understand and help Joshua (her autistic grandson). Oh, she helps us all the time.
She has many more including being the best cook I know.
My mothers day started with Joshua waking Gracie saying "happy mothers day." He knew what we called today, though I don't think he understood what it meant.
Daddy and Gracie cooked me breakfast. She so quietly said, "Time to wake up." They served it by my bed as we don't have lap trays.Scrabbled eggs biscuits, juice, and diet coke.
Then, I had a nice relaxing bath which I haven't had in what seems forever. Which, I used my anti-stress bath my hubby got me and soap-less soap from BBW. I actually took time to shave and put on lotion.
Then, it was time for Sunday school and church. All the mothers get a pink carnation. I took one to my mom.
I bought her a pink ice tea maker because he fave color is pink.
Joshua made me a card. But, the best present of all was that Joshua did well at Nina's and Granddad's condo. They didn't get bored. We were there from noon to about 5:30 or so. She keeps toys. They didn't fight or get cranky.
It was wonderful.
Oh, yes lets not forget my brothers delightful hamburgers which he grilled on the outside grill. Despite the heavy wind. He makes the best burgers.Pasta salad and chips. And for desert banana split pie (weight watchers).
I hadn't seen my parents all week (they went on a trip to CA). So, it was really nice to chit chat for Ryan and his wife Lisa, mom, and dad. Hooray tomorrow is a school day!
Joshua did so-so for the mini-cat scan. He tired so hard. But, he was just to curious. On the third attempt daddy held him as best he could. Thankfully (Praise God), Dr. Lee was able to read the map. He had deviated septum, which can't be operated on until he is in his teens. He has drainage in-between his eyes and cheek. He is looking much better. We are to continue current treatment.
Well, today Joshua had his field trip to the local theater and park. He loved the bus ride. But, the movie wasn't very interesting. It was Alvin and the Chipmunks. Once the popcorn was gone. He was done.
Most of the kids were restless. I am sure most had seen it a few times. He sure loved the bus ride back. The picnic lunch. And he had to peak at the football players who came to read. Then, it was time to walk up to the park. They played hard had juice and popscicles. Josh was tired he could barely walk back to school.
It was worth the 12 plus 5 for lunch. Which was huge. It included milk, juice bar, carrot sticks, hamburger or chicken sandwich, scoooby gram snacks, and doritos. I couldn't eat all of it.
Well, if the outragous gas prices weren't enough. Groceries are up and might go up more. I can barely make do now. We are hurting. this isn't news to nay of us. But, all their doing is putting blame on a weaker dollar, gas prices. Not helping those of us who need it. We don't qualify for aid of any kind. Despite spending in 5 months span 1,000 on docs and medicine for our family. We couldn't get to the autism doctor until June that a friend referred to us.
I had to tell my 8 year old I didn't have ten bux for binculars for a one time bird trip. I am not expecting anything for mom's day.
How many pair of shoes do you have? Out of those pairs, how many do you wear more than a few times a year?
Submitted by fightinggale.
I have about 7 pairs of shoes. I usually have one to two pair per season Winter/fall and spring/sumner). This amount included my 1) scooby doo slippers, 2) a red pair of dress shoes, 3) a red pair of sandals from last year. 4) 1 pair of cnvas everyday wear, 5)one mock paten black dress shoes, 6) a pair of 3 year or older sneakers. 7) my well worn brown mudd suede mary jane type. Chasing kids need comfort.
I think my daughter at 8 might have more than me. I will count them later and see.
I gave him zyrtec last night. His nose though running is at least clear. Getting him to sit still will be a challenge.
Aren't we all. No one seems to care. It is hurting everyone but the oil companies. I used to fill up my escort for 10dollars. Now, it costs about 30dollars. My van used to cost 30 to fill up today approx 62. Both have good gas milage. It seems to me that they are charging more for gas and the quality isn't as good. It doesn't seem to last as long.
Butter at the store was 68 cents for Blue Bonnet. Now 88 cents.
I am trying to find ways to cut the grocery bill down. I stopped buying soda's. I have to tell my kids no treats because those are wants not needs. I am waiting for the simulus check so we can stock our pantry with a few items and the freezer. I buy the 5 for 20 at HG Hills. I try to do all my errands at once. I only run the house and car ac when needed otherwise their off. I use cold water and only 1/4 of soap as told.
It still isn't enough to dent our budget. We would be starving if it wasn't for mymost gracious and generous parents.
To lighten this up a guy at Chic Fil A was wearing a shirt with a stick figure It said "free gas" I bet you know where the gas was coming from.
He is bed, this is his meds before bedtime. saltwater spray in each nostril, saltwater spray mixed with antibacterial cream in each nostril, rub cream in each nostril with a q-tip, nasalquart spray in nose, singular chewable, zyrtec, musinex, cool mist humidfier. You can hear him gasping and gagging in his sleep. 2 pillows to keep head elevated.
His sleep study prilimnary is May 14th. We have a ct scheduled for Thursday. But, getting him to hold still for two minutes is going to be a challenge.
